It's the first question almost every guest asks us: how much does it actually cost to rent a boat in Ibiza? The honest answer is "it depends" — but that's not helpful when you're planning a trip. So here is a straight, no-nonsense breakdown of real 2026 prices, what's included, and where people overspend.
At Just Enjoy Ibiza Boats we own and operate our fleet directly — we're not brokers adding a markup — so these are the real numbers, not inflated quotes.
Ibiza boat charter prices at a glance (2026)
Prices are per day, for the whole boat (not per person), and already include a professional skipper, drinks, insurance and taxes. Fuel is the only major extra — more on that below.
| Boat type | Guests | From (per day) |
|---|---|---|
| Speedboat / day boat | 7–11 | €950 – €1,500 |
| Mid-size motor yacht | 9–12 | €1,500 – €2,500 |
| Large luxury yacht | 10–12 | €3,000 – €6,000 |
| Superyacht | 12+ | €8,000 – €16,000+ |
💡 Value tip: A speedboat from €950 split between 8 friends is under €150 per person for the entire day — skipper included. That's less than a sunbed-and-lunch bill at many Ibiza beach clubs.
What's included in the price?
Every charter with us includes:
✓ A professional licensed skipper (so you don't need a licence)
✓ Drinks — water, soft drinks, beer and wine
✓ Fresh towels, a Bluetooth sound system, shade, a toilet and fresh water on board
✓ Insurance and all taxes
✓ Departure from Marina Botafoch or Marina San Antonio
Premium yachts also include water toys — paddleboards, Seabobs, inflatable platforms — and fresh fruit on board.
The one thing that's NOT included: fuel
This is where a lot of charter companies hide costs. We don't. Your price covers the boat and the skipper; fuel is billed separately based on the route you choose, because a relaxed day anchored near Ibiza Town burns a fraction of what a fast Formentera crossing does.
Before you book, we give you a transparent fuel estimate for your specific itinerary — so you know the all-in price upfront. As a rough guide, fuel for a typical day ranges from around €150 for a small boat close to shore to several hundred euros for a larger yacht doing longer distances.
How to get the best value
1. Travel in May, June or September
The exact same boat is significantly cheaper outside peak July–August — and the water is just as warm, with far fewer crowds at the best Formentera anchorages.
2. Fill the boat
Charter price is per boat, not per person. A 12-guest yacht split twelve ways is dramatically better value than the same boat with four people.
3. Book direct
Booking through us means no broker fees and no markup — you pay the owner's rate. Compare that against agency quotes and the difference is often 15–25%.
